Overview: In this short story, the KGB uses an emerald Fabergé clock to reward Maria Freudenstein, a Soviet mole who believes she has infiltrated MI6. She plans to get her money by auctioning the objet d’art at Sotheby’s. James Bond uses the event to unmask the KGB’s Resident Director in London.

What does Bond drink? Nothing.

Observations: The Sotheby’s porter who puts the Emerald Sphere on a display pedestal is wearing a gray uniform with “wine-red” sleeves and collar.

Total: Zero.
